Junior scientists

We especially encourage junior scientists to participate in the 2024 Heinrich Wieland Prize symposium. There will be plenty of opportunities to network and meet with the laureate and the speakers. In addition, you can be part of the programme by

Presenting your work in the poster session
Maybe even by getting the chance to give a 2-minute flash talk

You can even win one of two poster prizes worth 500 euros each!

One of them will be selected by a jury, the second by the symposium participants.

If you are coming from outside of Munich, you can apply for a travel grant to cover the costs for travel and accommodation associated with you attendance of the symposium. Junior scientists based in Europe can apply for up to 500 euros, those from overseas can apply for up to 1,200 euros of support.
